Two cargo vessels collided near the Higashi-Ogishima port in Yokohama, Japan at around 06:30 (Tokyo time) on 2 March.
The two ships are the 698 TEU, Chinese-flagged, 2006-built boxship Hai Su 6, and the Japanese-flagged, 2011-built general cargo ship Misaki Maru.
According to Maritime Bulletin’s report, both vessels were sailing on the same route, from the port of Tokyo to the port of Yokohama.
