MSC has announced the following freight rates effective from 1 July 2024 (gate-in date) until further notice for all dry cargo from North Europe (NWC, Scandinavia, Baltic) to the North Mediterranean, including Turkey, Greece and the Black Sea.

MSC enhances JAXPORT-West Coast South America connection

MSC adjusts its East-West network to manage disruption caused by Red Sea crisis

Due to the current situation in the Red Sea, MSC has temporarily suspended transits through the Suez Canal in both Eastbound and Westbound directions.

MSC upgrades ScanBaltic to US service

MSC introduced the expansion of its ScanBaltic to the United States service, which links the Northwest region and markets in the US.

The new rotation will include calls to Jacksonville in the United States every two weeks.

MSC said the service connects with the ocean carrier’s European short sea and intermodal network and enhances support for the food and beverage, automotive and forestry industries across the ScanBaltic and US.

MSC, DB Schenker seal biofuel deal

World’s largest container line MSC and global freight forwarder DB Schenker have made an agreement according to which, DB Schenker will use 12,000 metric tons of biofuel component for all of its own consolidated cargo, less-than-container load (LCL), full-container-load (FCL) and refrigerated containers (reefer containers), from MSC.
