In what Chairwoman and CEO Angeliki Frangou calls a “transformative transaction,” dry bulk specialist Navios Maritime Partners L.P. (NYSE: NMM) and tanker specialist Navios Maritime Acquisition Corp. (NYSE:NNA), are to combine.

Navios Maritime Acquisition Secures $100m Loan

  • New York-listed tanker owner and operator Navios Maritime Acquisition has secured an up to $100m loan from a subsidiary of N Shipmanagement Acquisition.
  • A two-year loan has scheduled amortisation and bears interest at a rate of 11% per annum, payable quarterly.
