Drivers first: Netradyne offers innovative people-centric safety solution

Despite their importance in keeping America running, truck drivers are often overlooked by consumers as well as by fellow members of the logistics community. Netradyne hopes to change that by designing innovative driver-first safety solutions.

“Being advocates for drivers is very near and dear to our hearts,” said Ofelia Chernock, senior product marketing manager at Netradyne. “We know that drivers are the lifeblood of our country and many other countries across the globe.”

Carrier safety initiatives can make all the difference in precarious market

After years of fiscal strain, weary carriers are finding some solace in falling diesel prices and anticipated interest rate cuts. At the same time, however, carriers are still grappling with too much capacity in the trucking market.

This mix of indicators points to an overall environment where success – or failure – hinges largely on the decisions carriers make. In an industry that continues to be plagued by nuclear verdicts, carriers continue to face outsized risks surrounding litigation,...

Start tracking what your drivers are doing right

Trucking companies have long encountered post-accident lawsuits, but the legal landscape has become more precarious for fleets over the past decade. As carriers continue to be hit with nuclear verdicts, it is more important than ever for industry leaders to invest in safety.

“Today, the accident is just the start of the conversation,” said Adam Kahn, chief business development officer at Netradyne.

The exploration stage of the litigation process has expanded to include thorough investigations...

Driver safety, ideas on reducing fuel use top concerns for SMB fleets

Commercial fleet managers are very concerned about safety, they generally trust their drivers and are running out of ideas on how to save fuel.

Those are some of the high-level takeaways from a new survey of 503 decision-makers at small and midsized businesses (fewer than 1,000 employees) operating at least five commercial vehicles. The results were released Monday by Netradyne, an artificial intelligence fleet technology provider.

The survey was conducted by Atomik Research from Sept. 21 to 28....

Show greater appreciation for your drivers this season

Of the many things to be thankful for this holiday season, truck drivers should be on your list.

After all, truckers are the true “Secret Santa” of the supply chain, with each load ensuring store shelves remain stocked and packages delivered.

Kristin Tedesco, senior manager at Netradyne, joined FreightWaves’ WHAT THE TRUCK?!? to encourage fleets to show greater appreciation for their drivers. While it’s not always easy to show praise throughout the year, Tedesco said even the smallest gifts are...

Choose a dashcam that targets your pain points

With so many dashcams on the market, how do you know which is best for your fleet?

According to Ryan Knight, senior director of enterprise sales at Netradyne, you first need to know what your pain points are. What are you trying to mitigate?

For starters, you’ll want to evaluate any and all speeding violations, accidents and incidents, and subsequent claim damage, Knight said on FreightWaves’ WHAT THE TRUCK?!?. Bringing your risk factors into the spotlight is the first step in establishing...

Driveri dashcam helps bring out the best in drivers

Today’s risk-averse and litigious transportation industry leaves fleets with no room for error when accidents occur.

Most drivers are aware of this and accept the measures fleets take to ensure they’re compliant. However, the last thing drivers want, especially those who have never been in an accident, is to feel like they’re being watched nonstop, knowing every turn of the wheel is subject to criticism.

While most drivers associate dashcams with judgment and rebuke, this isn’t the case with Drive...

Netradyne spotlights drivers’ positive attributes

Drivers have long dreaded performance reviews — and who can blame them? Receiving nothing but criticism and notes about areas for improvement is not only stressful but also frustrating, especially when your good driving isn’t acknowledged.

Adam Kahn, chief business development officer of Netradyne, believes that a driver’s full performance, including both strengths and struggles, should be recognized equally. He appeared on FreightWaves’ WHAT THE TRUCK?!? to discuss how fleets can train their...

Netradyne’s Driver•i more than just an in-cab camera

With drivers on the road for weeks at a time, fleet managers know just how difficult it can be to monitor their performance. But as nuclear verdicts continue to rise, plaintiffs’ attorneys argue that motor carriers could always do better.

If only the fleet manager could be in the cab at all times. Adam Kahn, president of Netradyne, appeared on FreightWaves’ WHAT THE TRUCK?!? to discuss the benefits of Driver•i and how it’s so much more than a traditional in-cab dashcam.

Eliminating risk through reward with Netradyne — Great Quarter, Guys

Adam Kahn, president of Netradyne’s commercial fleet team, joins this episode of Great Quarter, Guys to lay out the company’s method of driver training through positive reinforcement and digital engagement.

Kahn believes technology can fill a vital role in driver coaching and performance management. He explained how exhausting it would be for fleets to have safety meetings with each of their drivers on a weekly basis, something many in the industry propose. That’s where Netradyne comes in.

Netrady...
