Noatum Logistics acquires 152 new long-haul trucks from Mercedes-Benz

Noatum Logistics, an AD Ports Group company and a global logistics management services provider, will buy 152 long-haul transport trucks from Mercedes-Benz to enhance its freight-forwarding operations in the Middle East.

The Mercedes Benz Actros advanced trucks are expected to enhance Noatum Logistics’ regional transport capacity by 6,000 tonnes and grow its fleet from approximately 450 vehicles to over 600.

Forwarders slam ‘diabolical’ service and ‘shameless profiteering’ by carriers

After another week of eye-watering freight rates breaking into new territory, forwarders have slammed shipping lines for “diabolical” service levels and accused them of “shameless profiteering”.

Ramon Gallen and Daryl Ridgway in new senior roles at Noatum Logistics

Noatum Logistics has appointed Ramon Gallen (pictured above) as its new managing director of Asia, replacing Marco Gaeta, who has been in the role for the last eight years.
Mr Gallen joined Noatum Logistics in December 2014 as deputy managing director, and on the Komet integration project in Turkey, as well as supporting the MIQ acquisition and integration in 2019.
