NYCEDC to issue new RFP for NYC Ferry operator

New York City Comptroller Brad Lander has released an audit finding that NYC Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) underreported nearly a quarter of a billion dollars in NYC Ferry expenditures during former Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration.

Equinor and BP launch NY Offshore Wind Innovation Hub

Equinor and BP have announced the launch of a New York-based Offshore Wind Innovation Hub aimed at facilitating partnerships with start-ups that bring new technological solutions to the rapidly growing U.S. offshore wind industry. Cecilia Kushner to keynote Ferries 2021 on New York’s ferry investments

Marine Log’s FERRIES 2021 conference is set to go live and in person in just over three weeks, with a full agenda and a nearly sold out venue.

The event will take place November 9-10 on the New York Harbor waterfront in Jersey City, N.J., in partnership with the Passenger Vessel Association. As its theme says, “The ferry industry is poised to rebound in 2022.”
