New CEO for Salalah port

Salalah Port Services Company has appointed Steven Yoogalingam as its new Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1st November 2024. Steven brings a wealth of experience to the Omani port, having perviously been Managing Director of the Suez Canal Container Terminal, Port Said Egypt, and Managing Director of the Aqaba Container Terminal, Jordan.

Sohar port partnership with leading Omani university

Asyad acquires global freight forwarder

Oman’s Asyad Group has acquired Skybridge Freight Solutions (SFS), a global freight forwarding company. This is Asyad’s first international acquisition in terms of logistics activities and aims to expand the group’s footprint in major economies such as China, India, the USA and the GCC. Sohar Port launches emergency response organisation
