Master Marine delivers new 67′ towboat to St. Louis

Master Marine Inc. (MMI) has delivered the Frank Mellor to Osage Marine Services, Inc., St. Louis. The new 67’x28′ vessel is designed by Entech Designs LLC., Kenner, La.

The towboat is powered by a pair of Laborde Products S6R2-Y3MPTAW Mitsubishi 803 hp Tier 3 diesel marine engines operating at 1,400 rpm., coupled to Twin Disc 5321 gears.

Master Marine delivers first of two towboats to St. Louis

Master Marine Inc., Bayou La Batre, Ala., has delivered the first of two 67’x28′ Entech Designs designed vessel to Osage Marine Services Inc., St. Louis. It’s Osage’s first newly built towboat and it has all of its USCG certificates for Subchapter M compliance.

Master Marine building six new tugs

Master Marine Inc. has signed a contract to build six 67’x28′, Subchapter M-compliant towboats designed by Entech Designs LLC, Kenner, La.

The Houma, La.-based shipyard has laid the keels for the first two vessels, which will be working for Osage Marine Services, St. Louis. The rest will be operating in the lower Mississippi River system for an undisclosed customer.
