Vestdavit awarded Coast Guard icebreaker contract to supply marine davits

Boat handling systems manufacturer Vestdavit Inc. announced today that it was awarded a contract from Halter Marine, Pascagoula, Miss., to supply marine davits for the Coast Guard’s new Polar Security Cutter (PSC). The 460-foot vessel will support U.S. operations in Arctic and Antarctic waters.
