Sulmara wins funding for OTH uncrewed surface vessel

Scottish subsea specialist Sulmara has been awarded funding by the Glasgow-based Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC) to develop an over-the-horizon (OTH) uncrewed surface vessel (USV) with the ability to launch and recover towed sensor packages.

Vestdavit awarded Coast Guard icebreaker contract to supply marine davits

Boat handling systems manufacturer Vestdavit Inc. announced today that it was awarded a contract from Halter Marine, Pascagoula, Miss., to supply marine davits for the Coast Guard’s new Polar Security Cutter (PSC). The 460-foot vessel will support U.S. operations in Arctic and Antarctic waters.
