Total, Pavilion Inks Singapore LNG Bunkering Partnership

According to a recent Seatrade Maritime News, Total Marine Fuels Gas Solutions (TMFGS) and Pavilion Energy Singapore have inked a 10-year agreement to develop LNG bunkering in the Port of Singapore.

What is in the agreement?

This year in February, Pavilion chartered an LNGBV newbuilding from Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL). It is currently being constructed at Sembcorp Marine’s Tuas Boulevard Yard in Singapore.

Singapore’s Pavilion Energy Charters First LNG bunker Vessel

In a major development, Singapore’s Pavilion Energy announced on Monday that they have chartered their first liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessel which would be used in bunkering, or marine refueling, in the city-state, reports Reuters.

The 12,000-cubic meter LNG bunker vessel, the biggest such ship set for use in the Port of Singapore, will be owned by Japan’s Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), built by Sembcorp Marine in Singapore and will be delivered by early 2021, Pavilion Energy said.
