Nord Stream 2 Receives Approval for Gas Pipeline Link

  • Denmark has approved a request from the developer of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

First billion cubic meters of gas delivered via TurkStream

Following the launching ceremony of TurkStream gas pipeline several days ago, the Russian company Gazprom informed that successfully supplied its first billion cubic meters of gas through the pipeline. For the records, TurkStream links the gas transmission systems of Russia and Turkey.

According to Gazprom, about 54% of the billion cubic meters, went to the Turkish gas market, while a 46% was delivered to the Turkey-Bulgaria border.

Blue Technology Center of Expertise launched

The U.S Coast Guard along with the Scripps Institution of Oceanography collaborated and launched the Blue Technology Center of Expertise (COE), which will focus on the research and the use of the blue technology. The center is located on the Scripps Oceanography campus in San Diego, while the ribbon-cutting ceremony was on Friday 24 January, 2020.

First US LNG Cargo Arrives in Poland for Redelivery Via Pipeline

According to a recent Platts report, the first US LNG shipment is set to arrive in Ukraine.

Gazprom’s TurkStream project is complete

The entire pipeline system for Gazprom’s TurkStream project in the Black Sea has been completed following connections between TurkStream offshore section and landfalls. TurkStream is a project for a gas pipeline stretching across the Black Sea from Russia to Turkey and further to Turkey’s border with neighboring countries.
