Valencia sees continuing container growth

According to the latest Valenciaport Statistical Bulletin, in March, the docks at Valenciaport handled nearly 7 million tonnes of cargo, marking a growth of 3.84%. Specifically in terms of containers, the Spanish port handled 459,749 TEUs, representing a significant increase of 15.86%.

Valencia receives bids for new container terminal construction

Valenciaport establishes hydrogen pathway for European ports

Rail container traffic on the rise in Valencia

In 2022, a total of 2,230,683 tonnes of cargo were transported by rail in the Port of Valencia, an increase of 8% over 2021. At the same time, the Spanish port saw 236,142 TEUs be moved by rail in the previous year, translating to a 10% growth over 2021.
