Port of Amsterdam to ban open-loop scrubbers from 1 January

Starting on 1 January 2025, the Port of Amsterdam will enforce a restriction on using open-loop scrubbers for seagoing vessels, contributing to a cleaner aquatic environment.

European giant box ports collaborate with Routescanner

Ports of Antwerp-Bruges and Amsterdam are now offering Routescanner’s Direct Connections on their websites.

In particular, with Routescanner, a shipper or freight forwarder can find and compare possible routes for its container shipments on a neutral platform. Direct Connections system shows all available connections to Antwerp, Zeebrugge and Amsterdam.
