New container service launched connecting Dalian with Australia

Liaoning Port Group, the Dalian port operator, said that a new direct express service from the Chinese port to Australia began on 2 March.

The new service, named North China Australia Express (C3A), is expected to cut transit times, shortening the voyage from 35-45 days to 20 days at the minimum, while it is also expected to decrease transit costs.

Chinese container ports kick off new year handling over 24 million TEU

The container throughput of the Chinese ports was 24.2 million TEU in January, which translates to a slight year-on-year growth of 1.6%.

Dalian bans reefer imports

Port of Dalian does not accept import reefer cargo due to another Covid-19 outbreak in China.

There is a customs restriction for import reefer cargo to Dalian, concerning frozen meat and seafood products, according to Hapag-Lloyd’s announcement.

Chinese ports overcome corona challenges

Dalian port keeps growing amid trade war
