Morocco foils attempt to smuggle over 11 kg cocaine

Moroccan authorities foiled on Sunday (Sept. 29) an attempt to smuggle over 11 kg of cocaine at the northern port of Tangier-Med.

According to a statement from the Moroccan Police DGSN, the banned substance was concealed in an international transportation truck coming from Spain.

The truck driver, of Moroccan nationality, and his assistant were arrested during this operation, the statement added.
