Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a joint venture between MMC Group and APM Terminals, sets a new shift volume record with 13,700 quayside moves in a single 12 hours shift, breaking its own previous shift record of 12,557 moves set in 2020.

Port Tanjung Pelepas to increase efficiency through AI technology

The port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) in Malaysia has signed an agreement to deploy Innovez One’s Artificial Intelligence-powered Port Management Information System (PMIS).

The purpose of the MarineM system, which will be used by PTP, is to improve the efficiency and scheduling of the port, through digitalisation.
