Hapag-Lloyd announces an increased Ocean Tariff rate for all cargoes in 20’ and 40’ General Purpose (incl. High Cube Containers) on the  Eastbound trade from North Europe to Middle East and Indian Subcontinent.

Valid for sailings commencing on October 1, 2019 onwards and until further notice, Hapag-Lloyd’s Ocean Tariff rates from North Europe to Middle East & Indian Subcontinent will be:

Hapag-Lloyd announces an increased Ocean Tariff rate for all cargoes for 20’ and 40’ General Purpose (incl. High Cube Container) on the Trade – Indian Subcontinent & Pakistan to West Mediterranean.

Effective for all container gate in full as of April 1, 2019 onwards and until further notice, Hapag-Lloyd’s Ocean Tariff rate from Indian Subcontinent & Pakistan to West Mediterranean will be:

SLPA accused of hiking prices without notice

The Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) has landed an upward tariff revision on 1 January, increasing cost for exporters and importers allegedly without notifying the trade or the new Minister.

Industry sources said the Port’s wharfage tariff for export containers and import containers and handling of their LCL (Less than Container Load) cargo has been exorbitantly increased by more than double, which is a dollar-based calculation. Additionally, demurrage free times have been reduced, too.
