Port of Hueneme hits an all-time record

Cargo imports and exports hit an all-time high at the Port of Hueneme for FY2018 with 1.6 million tons of cargo moving through the Port. This represents an 8.1% increase over last year’s performance of 1.48 million cargo tons. The previous cargo record was set in FY2015 with 1.56 million cargo tons.

JAXPORT breaks again its year-record

JAXPORT’s public seaport terminals achieved record growth in container volumes, recording double-digit growth during the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2018.

JAXPORT moved nearly 1.3 million containers, a 23 percent increase over 2017. JAXPORT has set container volume records the past three years.

When combined with the containers handled through private terminals, the Port of Jacksonville is Florida’s largest container port complex.

Port Manatee breaks cargo records

PALMETTO, Fla. – Port Manatee continues to break cargo records, including handling an all-time-high of more than 9.3 million tons in the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, up 19.1 percent from the immediately preceding 12-month period. That comes on the heels of a 13.4 percent tonnage rise in fiscal 2017 from fiscal 2016.

Port of Oakland breaks 2nd monthly record in a row

The Port said it has handled the equivalent of 168,289 20-foot loaded import containers in the past two months.  That breaks the previous August-September record of 158,320 20-foot loaded import containers set back in 2006. One more month of import growth could give Oakland its busiest peak season in Port history.
