Angeles Equity Partners acquires majority stake in reefer carrier Freymiller

Investment firm Angeles Equity Partners announced Wednesday it has acquired a majority stake in Freymiller Inc., a refrigerated truckload carrier with a fleet of about 600 power units operating nationwide.

The acquisition was driven by the growing demand for refrigerated carrier services, said Sam Heischuber, principal at Angeles Equity Partners.

Shipwell: Reducing food waste one on-time shipment at a time

Shipwell technology can help reduce food waste in supply chains.

In the U.S., 30%-40% of food produced is wasted, according to the EPA. Food waste can occur on farms, in the supply chain, at stores and in homes.

Reefer outpacing van growth in second half of 2020
