Chennai Port Welcomes Largest Container Ship

  • The Chennai Port welcomed the largest container vessel MV CMA CGM Rhone to visit India’s south and eastern coast.
  • The 299.95-m-long vessel has a capacity of 9365 TEUs. The vessel arrived from Singapore with 2434 TEUs imports and loaded 1345 TEUs exports.
  • The container vessel was berthed at the Chennai Container Terminal, operated by DP World.
