APMT to equip Rotterdam’s terminal with shore power

APM Terminals Maasvlakte II (MVII) has decided to equip its terminal with shore power from 2028, providing cargo vessels with clean energy while in port.

Ferry company DFDS is set to start using a shore power connection for vessels calling at its terminal in Vlaardingen next year, reports Ship&Bunker.
