Kuehne+Nagel, the largest airfreight forwarder in the world, has established a strategic partnership with a major airport services company to co-develop better business practices aimed at speeding cargo flows at lower cost in an effort to further differentiate its service proposition from competitors.

Kuehne+Nagel and SATS join forces to drive value chain improvements

Kuehne+Nagel and SATS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enter into a strategic collaboration to drive value chain improvements and sustainability efforts within the air logistics industry.

In particular, the two companies have initially collaborated on several successful Proofs of Concept to optimise ground handling for e-commerce shipments, air charter hub and spoke operations, as well as to improve shipment visibility and cargo processing speeds for time-critical shipments.
