Kind-hearted souls in the maritime sector in Sydney have started purchasing and packing for seafarer Christmas gift packs.

Each pack will contain deodorant, Allen’s lollies, Soft toy Koala, boomerang, socks, a hand-made beanie and Chupa Chups (a type of lollipop).

Seafarer welfare crisis ‘ticking time bomb’
