Canada-based Tyltgo raises $1.8M for white-label services

Tyltgo, a white-label delivery company for retailers, announced it has closed on CA$2.3 million ($1.8 million) seed investment. The round was led by TI Platform Management and included Y Combinator as well as angel investor Charles Songhurst. The Canadian company has also announced Kahled Hussein, a partner at TI Platform Management, will join Tyltgo’s board as chairman.

FloorFound raises $4M to simplify resale of oversized retail returns

FloorFound, a software platform that facilitates returns for resales of oversized products for e-commerce retailers, announced Wednesday a $4 million seed round led by LiveOak Venture Partners.  Flybridge Capital, Next Coast Ventures, 8VC, individual investor Brett Hurt and FloorFound’s pre-seed investor, Schematic Ventures, also participated in this round. In total, FloorFound has raised $4.6 million in funding since its inception last year.

Smart loading dock technology

Smart loading dock tech startup Kargo announced Thursday it closed on a $6 million seed round. The round was led by Founders Fund and included Sozo Ventures, Accomplice and Hanover as well as technology executives.

The San Francisco-based company’s loading dock control tower, Argus, verifies incoming and outgoing freight and aggregates data, which allows shippers and carriers to manage dock operations.

Social Auto Transport raises $1.5M in seed funding to expand gig economy auto-moving business

Car owners are mostly likely to visit dealerships for service during the first three years of vehicle ownership, J.D. Power reported in its 2020 Customer Service Index survey.
