Nuro announces $600 million Series D funding round led by Tiger Global with participation from Google and Kroger

Autonomous vehicle maker Nuro on Tuesday announced a $600 million financing round led by Tiger Global Management to develop and deploy its robot delivery network nationwide. Notably, the series D included new participation from Alphabet property Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) and grocery retailer Kroger (NYSE: KR).

Shared truckload provider Flock Freight reaches unicorn status with Series D

Digital logistics provider Flock Freight announced Wednesday that it has raised $215 million in Series D financing led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 with participation from new investors Susquehanna Private Equity Investments LLLP and Eden Global Partners and its existing investors, SignalFire, GLP Capital Partners and GV, formerly Google Ventures.

The company’s last raise took place in November for $113.5 million, valuing the company at $463.5 million.

Sennder valued over $1B after $80M Series D extension

On Tuesday, Sennder, a digital freight forwarder based in Berlin, closed on an additional $80 million in funds, an extension to its Series D round that raised $160 million in January. The extension was led by Baillie Gifford, with Hedosophia, Accel, Lakestar, HV Capital, Project A and Scania participating in the previous Series D raise. 

The company has raised more than $350 million since 2015 and is now valued at over $1 billion.

Canadian augmented worker enterprise company Librestream announced that it has raised $24 million in Series D investment, taking its total financing to over $55 million. Canadian Business Growth Fund (CBGF) led the investment round, which saw participation from new investors Export Development Canada (EDC) and Pender Technology Inflection Fund, as well as existing investors including Emerald Technology Ventures and BDC Capital.
