Freight rates for exporting containers from China slightly decreased on many trade routes in the week of Sept. 2. The Shanghai Shipping Exchange (SSE) announced on Sept. 6 that the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) for the week in question was 795.05 points, a decline of 3% from the previous week.
