Reason for seizure

Two product tankers owned by Singapore-registered Somerset Maritime have been arrested by investment bank HSBC over cargo claims totalling $6m. 

Court records indicate that the below two are the seized tankers:

  1. 18,700-dwt Kirana Hasta (built 2018) and 
  2. the 19,000-dwt Kirana Santya.
