ReCAAP ISC: Four armed robberies against ships in Asia

In its weekly report for 24-30 September, ReCAAP ISC informed of a total of four incidents of armed robbery against ships in Asia. From these incidents, one occurred in Indian anchorage, one in a Philippine anchorage and two in Indonesia.

Of the four incidents, one was a CAT 3 incident, which is ‘less significant’ in nature, two were CAT 4 incidents, which are ‘least significant’ and one was an attempted incident. The incidents, ranked by significance, are as follows:
