Sogester chooses RTE’s reefer monitoring system

Sociedade Gestora de Terminais S.A. (Sogester), a joint venture between APM Terminals and the Gestor de Fundos of Angola, has started running the reefer monitoring system by Refrigerated Transport Electronics’ (RTE) company, named GRASP 3.0, that enables the automatic monitoring and control of all reefer operations.

Sogester container terminal upgrades continue

During 2019, the Sogester Container Terminal, located in the Port of Luanda, Angola, invested around $25 million in terminal handling equipment, IT system upgrades and facilities. Last month saw the arrival of an LH800 mobile harbour crane, with a 20-row outreach.
