SC Ports to halt operations on 6 September in observance of Labor Day

The South Carolina Ports (SC Ports) Authority has announced it will be closed on Monday, 6 September in observance of Labor Day and will restart operations the next day.

In particular, the terminals Wando Welch, North Charleston and Hugh Leatherman will close on Monday and will resume normal operations on Tuesday from 5:00 am.

SC Ports receives US$1.3 million grant for electric trucks

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) grant of US$1.3 million to South Carolina Ports (SC Ports) aiming to support project partners replacing diesel trucks with more sustainable vehicles.
