Chinese cargo airline SF invests in airframe refurbishment station

SF Airlines, China’s largest cargo airline by fleet size, has agreed to become a minority partner in a new joint venture airframe maintenance and upgrade company in China that will give its aircraft priority access for service and another revenue stream.

ST Engineering confirms US$95 million Keppel FELS yard acquisition

ST Engineering’s Marine business has paid US$95 million to Keppel FELS to acquire the property and assets of an existing shipyard at 55 Gul Road in Singapore for its commercial ship repair business.

The assets acquired include three floating docks, existing buildings, workshops, and machinery.

ST Engineering’s Tuas shipyard will be replaced by the new Gul yard when its lease expires at the end of 2024.

Sichuan Airlines to receive 1st A330 converted freighters built in China

Two Chinese carriers have committed to lease Airbus A330 converted freighters that will be produced in China by aerospace manufacturer Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW), a joint venture between Airbus and Singapore’s ST Engineering.
