Seven niche container lines launch China-Mexico joint service

Seven smaller ocean carriers will introduce a joint service between China and Mexico. Emirates Shipping, KMTC, Regional Container Lines (RCL), Sinokor, Sinotrans, SeaLead Shipping and T.S. Lines will enter into a trade that is new for most of them.

Each liner operator, according to DynaLiners report, will deploy a single boxship of around 3,000 TEUs on the service rotation, which will be as follows:

Shanghai (China) – Qingdao (China) – Busan (South Korea) – Manzanillo (Mexico) – Shanghai

Major restructuring for intra-Asia service, as Evergreen upgrades its role

The joint service FAX/IEA/EAX/REA/FAS – operated by Emirates Shipping Line, Global Feeder Shipping, Interasia Lines, KMTC, Regional Container Lines, and T.S. Lines – is undergoing a significant change.

Effective in October, the service will be restructured into two distinct loops, focusing separately on routes to Kenya and Tanzania.
