Tanger Med Port exceeds 7 million TEU in 2021

The Moroccan Tanger Med Port complex has handled 7,173,870 TEU in 2021, achieving a year-on-year growth of 24% in container volumes during 2021.

This traffic is mainly driven by the optimisation of Tanger Med 2 Port, after the commissioning of Container Terminal 4 (TC4) in 2019 and Container Terminal 3 (TC3) in 2021.

Hapag-Lloyd vessel completes first digital port call at Tanger Med
