Utah Inland Port Authority names executive directorBen Hart is the Utah Inland Port Authority’s new executive director, starting Sept. 12.
Hart is “a seasoned and well-regarded executive who brings a wealth of knowledge and relationships to the table,” Jack Hedge, Utah Inland Port Authority president, said in a release.

Wellesley, Massachusetts-based terminal and logistics company Enstructure plans to acquire Patriot Port Holdings, a sister company of short line operator Patriot Rail, as a way to expand its presence along the East Coast and at inland river terminals.

U.S. rail traffic recovered last week from the prior week’s dip in volumes, according to data from the Association of American Railroads (AAR).
