Kendra Tucker is becoming CEO of Truckstop.com at a time when it is firmly established as a major load board but trying to diversify its offerings to become much more.

Truckstop.com is getting a new CEO as current leader Paris Cole steps down: Kendra Tucker, the company’s chief operating officer.

ACERTUS names former Truckstop.com exec Broberg CEO

Trent Broberg, an experienced trucking and logistics executive who most recently served as chief operating officer for Truckstop.com, has joined ACERTUS as chief executive officer. 

Broberg replaces William Billiter, who co-founded the company and has served as CEO since 2010. Billiter will remain involved with the tech-focused automotive logistics and services company as a strategic member of the board.

Truckstop.com acquires carrier compliance firm RMIS

Online load board and digital freight marketplace Truckstop.com announced Monday the acquisition of RMIS, the Westlake Village, California-based carrier compliance automator.

RMIS’ capabilities — the most important of which is fulfilling 98% of freight brokers’ requests for carrier certificates of insurance within 60 seconds — will augment SaferWatch, a similar carrier onboarding solution acquired by Truckstop in 2018.
