USCG responds after typhoon Yutu on Northern Mariana Islands

The US Coast Guard is working alongside partners in the region to respond and recover from Super Typhoon Yutu, which made landfall on October 24, on the Northern Mariana Islands.

Super Typhoon Yutu moving away from US after devastating strike

Category 5 Super Typhoon Yutu has pushed west of the islands of Saipan and Tinian in the US Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Yutu may eventually arrive in the Philippines, Taiwan or southern Japan next week, according to data provided by the US National Weather Service.
