TMS officially unveils UAE Yearbook at SMM

The Maritime Standard officially launched its 2018/19 Yearbook at SMM in Hamburg in September. The unveiling of the Yearbook, which provides in- depth coverage of development in the UAE’s ports, shipping, shipyard, marine services and other sectors, took place at the Dubai Chamber and DMCA stand at the biannual shipping event.

Nico joins forces with Italian engineering firm

UAE-based marine and industrial engineering company, Nico International, has entered into an exclusive regional partnership agreement with Teknoship Srl., an Italian marine engineering services company.

Grandweld delivers first KOC crew boat

Dubai’s Grandweld Shipyard recently celebrated the launch of the first crew boat for the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), as part of a contract for a total of ten vessels signed last March. The KOC order with Grandweld comprises four crew boats and six pilot boats, with the remaining nine boats due to be delivered by June 2019.
