Cruise boom to continue

According to industry alliance, Cruise Arabia, the 2019-2020 Middle East Cruise season is set to be the busiest on record, with eight different cruise lines deciding to use Dubai as a homeport for a total of 9 vessels. These include MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Costa Cruises, TUI Cruises, AIDA Cruises, Pullmantur, P&O Cruises and Celebrity Cruises.

New Kizad chief executive confirmed

Abu Dhabi Ports has announced the appointment of industry veteran Samir Chaturvedi as chief executive of Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad). Grandweld delivers first KOC crew boat

Dubai’s Grandweld Shipyard recently celebrated the launch of the first crew boat for the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), as part of a contract for a total of ten vessels signed last March.
