NWSC completes LNG facility equipment delivery

North-Western Shipping Company (NWSC, a company of UCL Holding) has completed the delivery of equipment under the project on construction of a facility for production, storage and shipment of LNG (liquefied natural gas).

The delivery was performed between November 2017 and July 2019.

Project cargoes were delivered from European ports to a dedicated berth of compressor station KS Portovaya in the Vyborg District and to the berth of Bronka port in the Lomonosov District.

TSCP Group presents increased cargo volumes

Over the six months of 2019, Tuapse Sea Commercial Port (TSCP Group, part of UCL Holding) handled 7 million tonnes of cargo, up 3%, year-on-year.

The growth was driven by increased transshipment of oil cargo to 3.1 million tonnes (+18%, year-on-year) although transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 6.5% to 3.8 million tonnes due to reduction of grain and ferrous metal shipments.

CTSP enjoys bigger half year numbers

In the first half of 2019, Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg CJSC (CTSP, a company of UCL Holding) handled 402,100 TEUs, up 7.4% more than in the same period of the previous year.

Container exports grew to 207,900 TEUs (+8.3% versus the result of the first six months in 2018).

Container imports increased by 6.5% to 194,200 TEUs including 47,800 TEUs of loaded refrigerated containers.

In January-June 2019, CTSP handled 248 vessels with average shipload of 1,659 TEUs.

TagSCP reports decreased cargo volumes

In the first half of 2019, Taganrog Sea Commercial Port JSC (TagSCP, a company of UCL Holding) handled 554,000 tonnes of cargo, down 11%, year-on-year. The decrease should be attributed to business decline in foreign trade market dealing with the port’s key types of cargo, coal and grain.

In the first quarter of 2019, Tuapse Sea Commercial Port (TSCP Group, part of UCL Holding) handled 4.2 million tonnes, up 8%, year-on-year.

The increase of total cargo throughput of 0.3 million tonnes was driven by positive dynamics in transshipment of oil cargo to 2.1 million tonnes (+0.4 million tonnes, or +24.2%) and coal to 0.77 million tonnes (+0.1 million tonnes, or 11.3%).

Container volume of CTSP hikes

In the first quarter of 2019, Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg CJSC (CTSP, a company of UCL Holding) handled 202,300 TEUs, 20% more as compared with the result achieved in the first three months of the previous year.

In the reporting period, exports totaled 99,900 TEUs, +17.3% versus 1Q’2018. Imports totaled 102,400 TEUs (+22.8%, year-on-year) including 26,100 TEUs of refrigerated cargo.

In the first quarter of 2019, companies of UCL Port, stevedoring division of UCL Holding, handled 9.9 million tonnes of cargo, up 6%, year-on-year. The growth was driven by increased transshipment of oil cargo.
