CBP seizes $14 million worth of meth and heroin at Mexico border

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers recently seized more than $14.7 million worth of drugs in several U.S.-Mexico border incidents.

Almost $19M in meth seized in Laredo

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents found more than $18 million in methamphetamine in two separate busts in south Texas over the weekend, according to the agency.

The first incident took place on Friday, in the cargo area at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo, Texas. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge on the Texas-Mexico border seized 1,527 pounds of packed methamphetamine, officials announced Tuesday.
