Empire Wind 2 rock installation contract terminated

Equinor and BP’s decision to “reset” the Empire Wind 2 offshore wind project (see earlier story) has led to another contract termination. As we noted in our report, the so-called “reset” decision was soon followed by termination of Seatrium’s contract for the Empire Wind 2 offshore substation (OSS) platforms. Van Oord to build “most ecological wind farm yet” for Ecowende

Van Oord has been contracted to build the Hollandse Kust (west) lot V wind farm. Located about 28.6 nautical miles west of the Netherlands, it is being billed by developer Ecowende (a joint venture of Shell and Eneco) as “the most ecological wind farm yet.”
