Technology-enabled trucking company Aifleet announced Tuesday it has closed on a $16.6 million Series B round led by Tom Williams, general partner at Heron Rock.

The Austin, Texas-based carrier plans to use the funds to fuel its technology research and development, grow its operations and sales teams, and further develop scalable infrastructure, according to a news release.

Logistics tech startup Cargado raises $6.8M in seed funding

FreightTech startup Cargado announced Monday it has secured $6.8 million in seed funding that will be used to expand its team and enhance the company’s product.

The seed round was led by Primary Venture Partners with participation from existing investors Ironspring Ventures, Zenda Capital, Wischoff Ventures and Proeza Ventures, along with new investor Ryder Ventures.

Cart.com secures $30M from Trinity Capital to increase profitability

Houston-based e-commerce platform Cart.com announced it has nabbed $30 million from Trinity Capital to help the firm expand while boosting its balance sheet.

The investment is part of a larger $100 million debt refinancing that included Trinity and Silicon Valley Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank. The capital will strengthen Cart.com’s balance sheet as it continues to scale operations, according to a news release.

Electric mobility startupXos Trucks Inc. raised $20 million to keep up with orders for its modular chassis. The money is helping meet demand for underpinning medium-duty regional and last-mile delivery trucks with its X-Platform.
