Fincantieri Marinette Marine and Vigor (Team RB-M) announced the deliveries of two additional 45’x14.7′ Response Boat-Mediums (RB-Ms) to the U.S. Coast Guard. These boats are part of an approved foreign military sale to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan through the Department of Homeland Security.
Marinette Marine was the prime contractor and program manager for the project, and Vigor built the vessels at its Seattle facility.

Vigor to build two pilot boats for Los Angeles port
The Port of Los Angeles recently awarded Vigor the contract to build two new aluminum 55’4″x16’5″ pilot boats. Designed by Camarc, the new vessels will be built to handle normal to more extreme environmental conditions. The smaller pilot boat Camarc design currently used throughout Europe, Australia and South America delivers the same consistent performance as the larger boats used in the U.S. mid-sized market, Vigor officials said in a statement announcing the new agreement.

O’Brien named executive VP at Vigor
Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ O’Brien has joined the leadership team at Vigor Industrial, Seattle, as executive vice president of strategy and business development.
