Vinalines to open container shipping centre

Vinalines marks profit in 9 months

State-run Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) recorded revenue of VND11.73 trillion (US$502.36 million) in the first nine months of 2018, and a profit of VND21 billion (US$900,000), announced the firm in a meeting on October 12.

Vinalines to build container terminals at Lach Huyen Port

Vinalines is seeking approval from the government for building two container terminals at Lach Huyen Port in northern Hai Phong City.

Nguyen Canh Tinh, director of the state-run Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines), said its subsidiary, Haiphong Port JSC, would build terminals No.3 and No.4 at the port.
