Panalpina opens new warehouse in Prague

On May 14, Panalpina held the opening ceremony for its new 21,000 m2, 28-bay warehouse in Prague, Czechia. Two-thirds of the warehouse capacity is dedicated to MAHLE, a leading international development partner and supplier to the automotive industry as well as a pioneer for the mobility of the future, headquartered in Germany.

The remaining one-third capacity can be used for additional value-added services for MAHLE and for other customers.

New Sri Lanka facilities to support exporters

Sri Lanka’s investment agency has approved a project to build a warehouse and container depot near the Biyagama export processing zone to help exporters bring raw materials and machinery and ship outbound finished products.

The project by Skylift Container Depot and Logistics (Private) Limited, with a total value of 1.83 million US dollars will be located at Walgama, Malwana and employ 49 people, the Board of Investment said.
