New Jersey to double on offshore wind power

Phil Murphy, the New Jersey Governor, is doubling the state’s offshore wind power goal, competing with New York among others, in order to set off an industry expected to create thousands of jobs.

New York officializes nation’s largest offshore wind project

New York Governor, Andrew M. Cuomo, announced that the NY State Energy Research and Development Authority made an official agreement for two offshore wind projects that will generate a combined 1,700 megawatts of renewable energy for the state.
