Yilport to launch operations in Italy with Taranto box terminal

Robert Yuksel Yildirim, President and CEO of Yildirim Group, announced via Twitter that Yilport Holding signed an agreement with Taranto Port Authority.

Yildirim said that the two organizations inked a 49-year Concession Agreement for Taranto Container Terminal in Italy.

New high-performance cranes will strengthen two terminals in Latin America

Konecranes will enhance two Latin America’s terminals with four high-performance Model 8 mobile harbor cranes. Terminals in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala and in Puerto Bolivar, Ecuador, will be equipped by two cranes each one. 

The order by Turkey-based YILPORT HOLDING was made in the first quarter of 2019. The two large Konecranes Gottwald cranes will begin operation n Guatemala in mid-2019, followed by two cranes in Ecudor just two months later.
