Flagship Cruises gets $15.2M grant to build two all-electric ferries

San Diego-based Flagship Cruises & Events reports that it has been awarded a $15.27 million grant from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to develop two fully electric zero emission ferries to serve the San Diego to Coronado route.

California gives up on zero-emissions locomotive regulation

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has scrapped its controversial rule that would have required the use of zero-emissions locomotives in the state beginning in 2030.
