Panama Canal expects approximately 234 cruise ships to pass through its locks during the 2018-2019 season, which begins on Friday, 5 October, with the passage of the ‘Seven Seas Mariner’, traveling from the west coast to the east coast of the United States.
This would be the second complete season of cruises with the Canal expanded in operation and we hope to surpass our recent milestones and successes. In the next year, we hope to welcome more than 237,000 passengers through the Panama Canal,
