Vard Opts PG Flow Solution Pumps For Yara Birkeland

Vard’s Brevik, Norway, shipyard has been selected to build the zero-emission, zero crew vessel.
The ship is with a length of 80 meters and a beam of 15 meters, and has a cargo capacity of 120 TEU.
It replaces 40,000 truck journeys a year, reduces NOx and CO2 emissions, and improves road safety in a densely populated urban area.
The vessel will gradually evolve from manned operation to fully autonomous operation by 2022.
